March 2007: DEPAC can provide more customer training & support using our new Beech Baron. The Continental IO-520 engines were overhauled by DEPAC Client Lycon Aviation (Visalia, CA). I have been a pilot for 30+ years and because of the hassles of flying Commercial, and especially the TSA, we became active again and now have the freedom to fly where and when we want, and have some fun and freedom.

All this Stuff FIT into the BE 55 Baron for the month long trip to Orlando PRI and back.

Took 15 May 2006 off to practice defending this great country. We held the strategic high ground against the terrorist that used an '83 Chrysler Le Baron to attack our position. We hit the engine block with a 50 BMG round from a Barrett M82A1. The vehicle was now disabled and the terrorist fled only to be captured by coalition ground troops. Our mission then was to destroy the disabled Le Baron, expecting that it contained explosive devices (it did, because we put them there). Now the Classic Browning M2HB took the enemy out at 245 yards with API rounds and again we held the day and defeated our enemy. Doing our part to defend our Constitutional Freedoms.

We salute our troops in Iraq and Afganistan who are indeed in harms way and for them the war is very real.

See video details of this epic battle against the Le Baron. Great day of safe fun had by all and many got to shoot a 50 BMG rifle for the first time. We will make this an annual event in the Spring, when the ground is wet so we don't start any fires with our M17 tracers.

Happy crew at Ernie Elliott, Inc. Dodge Racing Engines in Concord, North Carolina. We brought our 9mm Uzi down just for an excuse to take a break after installing a new ADL Control system. Everyone had a chance to dump a 32 rd mag into the hillside and got the barrel nice'n Hot. I'm the rebel in control of the Uzi.

This summer we loaned some classic firearms to our local NYS Army National Guard for display at public events for recruiting. Here is our Browning M2-HB with Pedistal mount on this ANG Hum-Vee. This was the centerpiece of the Rome, NY Hot August Nats Car show (13-14 Aug). We also loaned a Barrett M82A1 50 Cal BMG and a German 8mm MG42 for other public events like the Herkimer County Fair next week. This was my first ride ever in a Hum-vee and we are sure glad to help our local National Guard. Now if we can only talk them into taking this rig to our local shootin range.
Helping the National Guard

Activity at the ANG booth inside the Herkimer County Fair with a display of Classic military firearms. The display attracted interest from vetrans and good questions about active service in the National Guard.

Here is my most favorite firearm, the Browning M2HB 50 Cal BMG. BUT in NYS its only in Semi Auto form but still a pleasure to shoot (Always Responsibly) and it Certainly Scares the S**t out of the Limosine liberals. This is DEPAC Dave with a full link of hand loaded API (Armor Piercing Incindiary). We have also mounted a Russian 'Cobra' Red-Dot sight. Note: the HUGE smile at doing something productive and useful. I Have Many, MANY other fine Firearms that are ALL Historic, Exotic, and fun to shoot. Each Shot is a demonstration of our American Spirit and Freedom.

Below is another Browning, a 30 Cal 1919A4 mounted on a German MG3 Tripod. We have a Hand Crank on the back to Crank-Fire this classic 30 Cal to about 450 rounds per minute. Still a NYS legal Semi-Auto. Getting used to the Hand Crank (still too fast). 1919a4.wmv Video --- Another wmv

Below is a very Exotic rifle. Very limited production Swiss PGM Counter-Sniper Rifle in .308 Caliber used in Bosnia. We know of only one other rifle like this in the USA. This rifle can be taken apart and fits into a small carry case.

Below are some more of my collection of belt feds. 8mm MG-42s and an MG-34. These are Semi-Auto conversions and NYS legal. Major components are German arms, used during WWII, obtained from Yugoslavia. These German Machine Guns were used to devastate our D-Day Normandy landings, and are a part of history. Even though these appear loaded, these displayed arms are missing critcal parts and cannot be fired here. Firearm saftey is a full time responsibility. (see www.brpguns.com for more info). Friends enjoy shootin the MG42.wmv

We had a recent vist from our good DEPAC user, Split Second Performance, from Alberta, Canada. Before flying back north we enjoyed shooting some kewl guns at the range. Sub-Gun is an Uzi model A (semi-auto, Bushmaster 16" shrouded chromed barrel), 25 rd 9mm magazine dump.

Below is an Auto Ordnance 1927-A1 Thompson with a 30 rd .45 Cal ACP stick magazine.

Getting some trigger time on an 8mm MG42 SA, getting the quick change barrel nice n hot.

Below is a video link to an 8mm MG42 Machine Gun in action. Doesn't take long to rip thru a 50 rnd belt. Full Auto is fun AND Legal in most states (NFA '34 rules apply). Only Semi-Auto is 'currently' legal in New York State (bummer).
